Kevin Hinkle is a photo-based digital artist living and working out of Bridgewater and Asbury Park, New Jersey and Galatone, Puglia, Italy whose recent work has involved the layering and digital manipulation of photographs (fusions) to create series of works called 'Disrupted Landscapes’ and ‘Looming Presences.’ Kevin has taken photography classes at the School for Visual Arts and the International Center of Photography in New York City. His work has appeared in exhibits throughout New Jersey including at Montclair Art Museum’s Affordable Art Fair, the Center for Visual Arts (Summit), Torche Galerie (Belmar) as well as in exhibits in New York (where he received an Honorable Mention in the Soho Photo’s Small Works exhibit), Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, California. His photographs have also been featured in literary and arts journals such as the Tulane Review, Grey Sparrow, the Baltimore Review, and Tupelo Quarterly, and several pieces were recently purchased by PNC Bank for their corporate art collection.
